Specific Skills
- Proven record of being a translator in a broadcasting role.
- Good command of written and spoken English and other languages. Must include 2 Nigerian Languages, 1 other African Language, French and English is essential but not necessary.
- Experience as a radio host. Samples to be submitted as proof.
- Experience carrying out result achieving research work.
- Experience Requirements 0-2 Years
- Overall, this position requires linguistic expertise, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to bridging communication gaps.
Responsible For
- Convert the meaning of written words from one language to another and deliver same on radio for live or recorded broadcast.
- Research scripts, terminology, and linguistic styles.
- Adapt existing content designed to attract, engage, and retain a particular audience.
- Understand the unique message goal of the BSSN foundation and deliver same.
- Rehearse and deliver approved messages and content to ensure there are no information is Lost in translation.
